The Gap is a series of 2 mysterious stories that shake our ideas of reality: The Inner Earth and Artificial Moon.

It comes inside a box of matches (along with a match) and its content must be burnt after reading, for safety-conspiracy-theory reasons.

The Horse Rider and the Eagle is the second chapter of a larger multimedia site-specific installation that depicts a hidden dimension in space, lead by matriarchy.

The viewer is invited to participate in the work of art and to experience each piece with their bodies, while gathering clues to understand the narrative in its totality.

Lecture: Coup D’etat

On Saturday, September 10th at 12pm, Sabrina Barrios will give a lecture at Snug Harbor Cultural Center in Staten Island, NY. The artist will talk about her work, process and her latest 2 part site-specific installations “Coup D’etat” (How They Did It–Wassaic, NY and How To Resist–Staten Island, NY), on view until September 18th and 11th, respectively.
